Rowledge Walks

Have you ever walked along the banks of the rivers Wey and Bourne as they flow through the village? Have you followed all the footpaths between Rowledge and the Bourne or behind Forest Lodge?

Now you can use a set of 12 self-guided walks produced by Roy Waight and Phil Thomas to guide you around unknown parts of Rowledge village. The walks are all printed on weatherproof A5 sheets with the route and appropriate guidance notes overprinted on Ordnance Survey maps making each sheet completely self-contained.

The routes provide the opportunity for local residents to get to know the village better using the network of paths that exist through the village and Alice Holt Forest. On the reverse side of each sheet is information about the history of the paths, enclosures and buildings in each walk, adding up to an excellent summary of village history even for non-walkers.

The 12 sheets are contained in a card wallet printed with village pictures and containing additional village history making the pack an ideal present . The wallet costs just £10 and may be purchased from Coffee Spot each Friday morning in the Village Hall or by contacting Phil Thomas on 01252 793802 or
