On Saturday 10 February, ten village teams competed for the prestigious Village Competition Cup. The eighth running of this annual event lived up to expectations and was as tightly contested as last year.

Village Autumn CleanUp 2017

Despite morning rain on Saturday 4 November - the first for over a week! - we had the largest turnout ever in our six year history. 45 adults and over a dozen brownies, rainbows and guides turned up.

Village Spring Clean 2017

A strong turnout of regular team members and first timers on the morning of Saturday 29 April were rewarded this year with a lovely spring day. Interestingly, several people brought power tools to tackle slightly larger jobs. Our local MP also paid a surprise visit.

Ten teams from local organisations vied for the coveted trophy in the Village Competition on Saturday 18 February, resulting in a win for St James’ Church with a record score.
